It plays a game I do not know the rules to
It dangles itself in a mirror placed directly in front of me
I feel its presence ineffably
though it is not there within
I reach only to bust the retroflective layer of false reality
I come out of it
there a trillion meters on top a layer all wet by humanity

it lies
unrelenting
with a smile.

I want to fuck it
for as long as I possibly can
I want to shred it in my teeth
sculpt a metaphor with its remains
yet weak I remain
impotent I shall stay
for its allergies to fading will become the death of me
its lack of waning but its grasp on air is nothing I shall ever fancy
